  • Overview

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, in addition to inspecting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing/production related equipment, building deficiencies, and ensure optimal performance of production system equipment.


    • Corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and/or building facilities equipment.
    • Work from mechanical and electrical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
    • Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic.
    • Support equipment modifications and set up equipment for production.
    • Support cross functional teams in maintenance related problem solving processes and continuous improvement activities.
    • Support the customer in updating and maintaining machine and building drawings.
    • Prepare technical details and instructions for maintenance and WCM activities.
    • Ensure the conformance of procedures and processes (ISO 9000).
    • Facilitate communication between departments, lines and internal suppliers.
    • Obtain outside resources and information when technical challenges exceed internal capacity.
    • Conduct routine audits and verifications to confirm the completion of maintenance activities.
    • Coordinate with plant production the availability of equipment and machines for planned maintenance activities.
    • Create, update and approve stand work instruction sheets to ensure the standardization and safe performance of maintenance activates. 
    • Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule. 
    • Demonstrates role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards.
    • Actively drive out waste from all maintenance activities using WCM methods.
    • Create a work environment in all service areas which supports positive employee morale and team building.
    • Ensure all work performed complies with environmental regulations.


    • Able to work day and afternoon shifts on rotating basis.
    • Journeyman Card of 2 year electrical/mechanical technical degree.
    • 5 plus years’ experience in industrial maintenance. 
    • Good computer skills.
    • Experienced in industrial safety practices.
    • Professional, service oriented and easy to work with.
